It won't help. Service members get railroaded. One of my squad leaders got falsely accused of rape/molestation and even after the mother and lying step daughter (the accuser) recanted their statements he was still in Leavenworth for a few years. Military court is the worst. Guilty until proven innocent, and even then it doesn't matter. They simply don't overturn "convictions" unless there is serious liability at risk.

Hope he can mount a capable defense , and hope he can transition to a civilian career successfully. Hate to see an officer that actually gives a damn , and has the courage to put his rank on the table treated like this . I'm sure he's not surprised tho

So would he have been better of resigning “effective immediately” so the military had no jurisdiction over him? IIRC, he stated in the letter he was resigning after he took his remaining leave or something

This is a fucking travesty. To think I was once proud to serve with the Corps.

"Honor, Courage, Commitment": This is a motto of the USMC.

Lt.Col Scheller had the courage to demand honor from the top brass because he questioned their commitment to their jobs.

I figured he'd be quietly discharged, all benefits taken away. BUT THEY FUCKING ARRESTED HIM AND THREW HIM INTO THE BRIG?!

For civilians who do not know what "the brig" is: it's prison for military members. It's about 100x more brutal than a federal prison. You sign away many of your rights when you enlist, so they can treat you like absolute shit while you're in the brig- beat you, withhold food, deny you contact with anyone except for your lawyer; if you asked a man in the brig "Would you kill your own mother to get transferred to a high security civilian prison?", he would already be on his way to see ol' mom before you finished your question.

The brig is for CRIMINALS, servicemen who abuse their powers or can't behave like normal people. IT IS NOT A PLACE WHERE YOU PUT MEN WHO ASK QUESTIONS. That's what GULAGS are for.

I think this is it, this is our first warrior sent to the new gulag. I've been hearing that Friday is a deadline for all active servicemen to get the clot-shot, and that if they refuse they may be discharged, denied various benefits, or even subjected to some form of non-judicial punishment. This is like the second to last phase in a communist takeover- PURGE THE MILITARY OF ANY MEN WHO MAY OPPOSE THE MADNESS YOU'RE ABOUT TO SUBJECT THE POPULATION TO.

We may lose half of our military's manpower in two days. Can you imagine?

If the whole thing is that self-perpetuating WWV Sting thing, then it becomes a touchy matter.

Always begins with law enforcement (civilian & military) keeping evidence of crimes secret to protect the investigation, then to protect the witnesses who are the criminals, then to protect members of law enforcement who made deals with the criminals so they would testify as witnesses, then killing off victims & innocent witnesses to protect the new deals made between the organized criminals and organized criminals in law enforcement.
