In short. He's basically a god. Not in the superman sense. He doesn't experience time linearly so he can time travel, duplicate himself, see through time. For all intents and purposes he's invincible. He can manipulate atoms so he can basically look at anything and shred it apart at a molecular level.

I guess he's technically a good guy but his character is a little more complicated than good vs bad. Give The Watchman a watch if you've got some time to kill. Not a bad movie. I don't know much more outside of that. I'm sure comic book nerds would argue something different.
