Here's the reality. People love to gossip. All it takes is two steps: 1) Spend most of your time listening, and let them talk, and 2) Give them positive reinforcement by acting shocked and impressed when they start talking about the kinds of things you want them to confess to. That's it. People love to talk about themselves, they like to talk about the big salacious things they are involved in, and people will just spill out all the things that they have been thinking about if you will just shut up and let them ramble.
