People are so mobile that very few live where their elderly parents or family members do. Social security is broke. There’s not enough now to give retirees a decent income. The annual increase is usually about a third of the actual cost of living increases. Medicare should be the entity to pay nursing or doctors care. It’s so bloated and abused that it needs to be abolished.
