If 100% of the hospitals in the US were 100% full, how many people would that be? My guess is less than 5% of the total population. Does anyone know where to find these stats? Is it findable?

I ended up finding some data on this and you are spot on. As of 2017 it was just under a million and the reports say that number is decreasing.
