WarrantCanary is only applicable if they want to use something in court. In yhe meantime, you are being monitored, tracked, partitioned, and catalogued. VPNs are also not fool-proof. Very few people are genuinely "anonymously online" anymore.

It doesn't matter. A warrant canary is easily resolved with careful application of a hammer to the fingers of the site owner.

It doesn't even matter if the site is a honeypot. Always act like you are in front of a judge and jury and assume everything is owned by the three letters.
