I haven't looked at the book, but if I did I could tell if it was ghost written and the purpose was a lame attempt at 'humanizing' the monster. Either way, I'd have him in your celebrity death pool. They could kill him in an attempt to bump up Xiden's diving ratings and or because of what he knows. Can't have a crackhead going around recording everything when he knows the secrets.
