Ya, they are memory holing everything.
That's the huge advantage of actual newspapers. Removing and replacing from archives and libraries is much hard than editing a web page.

Indeed. The information pipeline has been a double edged sword, but one edge is getting blunted more and more every day. A thousand thousand year lifetimes couldn’t straighten out the unsettled lies and misinformation flowing down that pipe now.
