What kind of strange shit?
Off the top of my head: Buzz Aldrin (or some famous space guy) going down there, having a heart attack, getting air lifted out then making some cryptic tweet about the heart of darkness or something
Right at the end of Obama's term a bunch of world elites making surprise trips down there. I think John Kerry went twice one time like days before Trump took office
A fitness tracking app released a bunch of user tracking info showing numerous people where running circuits in the middle of nowhere down there. The user gps data showed some obvious airstrips but also typical oval running tracks in areas that satellite imagery just showed nothing but snow. Then a few weeks later numerous militaries told soldiers they were no longer allowed to use said gps devices.
I'm sure there's more but I'm on mobile so I'm not deep diving it.
I wouldn’t pay too much attention to the buzz thing, he was like 86 years old at the time. It’s a pretty extreme environment so I don’t think it’s out of the question a guy that old would have health problems.
The world leaders going there? Yeah that’s kind of weird, also I remember the fitness tracker leak and was wondering what those lines were. Good point.
