2020 & 2021:
planted 149 trees- apples, pears, peach, cherry, persimmon, fig, mulberry, willow, chestnut, pawpaw and sugar maple.
found a free pickup and rebuilt the engine.
bought a bigger tractor and started clearing the land down by the creek to grow rice next year.
Incredible.
Have you looked into grafting trees? If you can find a mature fruit tree that is fruiting you can take a limb and graft it to another different species tree and it will continue to fruit.
New trees take years to fruit.
yep. all of my apple trees are grafted. 👍
almost all of the trees were between 4 and 6 feet tall when planted. basically twigs. yet, most tried to produce fruit this year, but I cut them off as I want them to concentrate their resources into growing.

How long between planting and this fruiting attempt?
