Have you looked into grafting trees? If you can find a mature fruit tree that is fruiting you can take a limb and graft it to another different species tree and it will continue to fruit.

New trees take years to fruit.

yep. all of my apple trees are grafted. 👍

almost all of the trees were between 4 and 6 feet tall when planted. basically twigs. yet, most tried to produce fruit this year, but I cut them off as I want them to concentrate their resources into growing.
