I planted an orchard cherry and apple trees. Probably lose 4 if not 5 out of 13. Not bad for a drought year, and the deer got in the fence and ate 3 of them near bare, and my inexperience. First time I've had fruit trees. Getting chickens too. I didn't grow up with any of this knowledge.

Chickens are very easy, give them food, water and a place to sleep. They'll take care of the rest.
