Just curious. You can never have too many knives. Never.

Some good Cold Steel knives at the moment.

My edc is a Milwaukee fastback. Never had need for a tactical but could always use a good chopper. If it came down to needing a tactical, I would probably just grab one of my larger skinning knives.

I thought that fastback would have been an overhyped box cutter, but that thing is fucking sick. I may use it as my new edc

It's the best I've found. I have a few of the other brands versions but they don't compare.

Is it a good long term piece to collect?

I go in a lot of crawlspaces. The only time the knife gives me problems is when it falls out of my pocket. I have several simply because I have a tendency to lose tools. I should also mention that I usually have a pack of replacement blades nearby at all times. I'm an electrician and I use 5 tools daily. My drill, wire strippers, hammer, 9-in-1 screwdriver, and this knife. The knife is the only tool that stays in my pocket when work is done. You should know this is basically a box cutter and not a pocket knife. But I haven't found a need for a longer blade in my daily routines. Also, they have apparently brought out a new version that has blade storage and and even screwdriver bits attached. I prefer the stripped down original version because of the size. It's definitely worth the less than $15 price.
