I noticed, most tech jobs are extremely boring, especially in legacy/maintenance space. Some of these jobs pay 65/hr or more. Im thinking, i may get two of these jobs, and just double my income, since I don't foresee my workload increasing that much. Worst case, I dip in performance. But if my last employer is anything to go by, my life as an employee or contractor is to fulfill someone's budget sheet, so i dont feel as bad about the idea anymore

You need to go into bidness for yourself if you have the nuts or creativity for it. Set your own pay and stop being a pussy. This advice is coming from a place of love.

You get paid what you're worth. What are you worth?
