I noticed, most tech jobs are extremely boring, especially in legacy/maintenance space. Some of these jobs pay 65/hr or more. Im thinking, i may get two of these jobs, and just double my income, since I don't foresee my workload increasing that much. Worst case, I dip in performance. But if my last employer is anything to go by, my life as an employee or contractor is to fulfill someone's budget sheet, so i dont feel as bad about the idea anymore

The problem i have in tech is the complete lack of care about anything. The machines they give you now are barely functional, they can't run anything properly, and at least from observation, absolutely no one cares about anyhing, not the manager, the co workers, or anyone. Maybe im just in the wrong company and im just lashing out by entertaining the idea of a second job
