There is no scientific dark-age to compare with Marxism. There is no scientific dark age to compare with cultural Marxism. Stalin imprisoned people for research, under the cultural revolution in Maoist China college students beat professors to death on stage for having reactionary anti-revolutionary scientific thoughts. The Catholic church had an intelligencia of powerful men every bit as bent as the Marxist, it's not a feature of Christianity, it's a feature of power.
