Think and grow rich by Napoleon Hill

I read this twice and didn't get rich

Ok but you forgot the main process which was to THINK 🤣 He didn't say read it a bunch of times and get rich 😂

Dan Pena turned me on to Napoleon Hill recently. This book has been a very confusing experience for me, but I can't say I dislike it. I'm just unsure on how to take it. Definitely worth a read or listen at least once though.

He gives you the most non mystical explanation possible for how you can think about getting rich in order to get rich

You're right. It sounds mystical at first, but the explanation for the process seems pretty solid if you really take it to heart.

I knew a weirdo that before he was even a billionaire, constantly talked about envisioning himself into being a BILLIONAIRE.

Once he had his first $2 million, he decorated a special room of nothing but fancy images of currency on the walls and a chair to sit in center and meditate in. We called it his money room. We thought he was a energetic nut.

he bought and flipped .coms he bought and flipped .coms he bought and flipped .coms he bought and flipped .coms he , then right before becoming a billionaire, became an international tycoon, and then a military arms trader and shipping importer (the kind of arms trader that went to those international events):

the CIA blew up him and his kid at the same time on the other side of the globe

poor guy. He made his billion $.

He actually fucking envisioned it starting at age 19 with just a credit card and a lot of fast talk.

I watched him do it. I mocked him. He fed his drive off people mocking him.

Skunk Works by Ben Rich.

It's about the history of Skunk Works at Lockheed and the development of the U2, SR71, to the Stealth fighter. It's pretty amazing what they did.

I just picked up the Wealth of Nations set. On Combat exists in audio form. Rockwell has some audiobooks on the high seas of the internet.

Darwin's Black Box: The Biochemical Challenge to Evolution by biochemist Michael J. Behe. Presents the biochemical arguments for intelligent design. You can skim over the very technical parts if you are not into that.

The Double Helix: A Personal Account of the Discovery of the Structure of DNA by James Watson. for saying White people are smarter due to their DNA. Very engaging story.

The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down: A Hmong Child, Her American Doctors, and the Collision of Two Cultures by Anne Fadiman. Shows how 3rd world people don't fit well into 1st world culture.
