He's in remission, but the cancer does not give me the warm and fluffies. He was able to beat out the original prognosis of 1 year by 5 years now. However I would think such cancers, when they come back, become death sentences? Also how rapidly can a cancer come back if his diet is composed of chinese takeout and alcohol?

Do your own research about natural cures. Curcumin, grape seed extract, fenbendazole, maybe even ivermectin (where have we heard about that before??) Big Med and Big Pharma will tell you none of that stuff works.
First step, quit drinking, then get a positive attitude.

He has nothing to lose. I wish him (and you) well

Let him be happy. It's his life.

That being said, a relative has lung cancer and exhausted chemo and radiation. Then it spread throughout their body. They are now taking gene therapy, and it's working.

What do you mean gene therapy? Got a link to the treatment center?

Cancer is completely beatable.

Look into Rick Simpson

Look into mushrooms and cancer, Chaga and Turkeytail mushrooms have been shown to have anti cancer effects, though I believe they are really just super healthy for your immune system which does kill cancer cells when healthy!

Get him off the alcohol!

Easier said than done, the guy drinks daily now. My theory is he simply stopped caring about his life, content to live in a hole and wallow in misery for the rest of his days

That sounds better than real life

Only God knows. If he gives his life to Jesus, it won't matter how long he lives.

It depends on a lot... but assuming mixed glioma which is kinda the worst you can have for brain cancer, you can expect a return in 5-10 years after remission.

He has Glioblastoma stage 4, golf ball sized thing, ultra agressive

Everyone dies. Tomorrow is not guaranteed for anyone. Prolonging life for sake of life is pointless. Avoiding death is not the same as living.

Not to discredit your situation, but I've never seen anyone sick with cancer, that wasn't "told" they were sick with cancer.

My grandma was healthy as fuck until her doctor told her she had cancer. Literally just hearing the words made her sick with cancer. She went from working in the garden to dead in one month.

Your brother has the rest of his life left.

That's because before you're diagnosed with cancer, you're just sick with "something," or you're just not sick from it yet. I don't know a lot of people who get a cancer diagnosis, without having symptoms first. Hell, that's the biggest issue with cancer, by the time you have symptoms, it's often too late.

My grandmother died in her sleep from "natural causes". She was 81. There was no autopsy, but, she was an organ donor, and they thought they could salvage her kidneys and liver. Regrettably, they found a mass of tumors in her kidneys. The transplant surgeon noted that based on the tumors and her blood work, she most likely died from a transitional cell carcinoma, the symptoms previously misdiagnosed as a persistent urinary tract infection.

That's not how it went with my grandma, and multiple others I have known.

I'm not arguing your situation, FYI. Just stating my personal experience. Cancer is a bitch and I wouldn't wish it on any "good" human.

I'd guess a bad diet would actually slow cancer, since cancer is just you. If it's bad for you, it's bad for your cancer.

Cancer could already be there and just not causing problems, unless his blood work says otherwise. Even then, he could still have it and they're missing it.

I would guess 6 months. Let him enjoy whatever he can. Brain tumors are incurable and unaffected by diet.
