A VSD is the most common heart defect that is normally diagnosed after birth, and it often requires surgery depending on the size. I’m a concerned parent with a 6 month old daughter who was born prematurely and diagnosed with a VSD. I’ve lost all trust in the medical community over the last few years, and I’m scared to put my little girl through this surgery, especially having read the potential “side effects”; one being death. I don’t know where to begin with research or what to do. The size of the hole in her heart is “moderate” and they don’t believe it’ll close up on its own. This is a 20k surgery, and given the recent medical malpractice surrounding covid, I do not want to put my daughter through this. I don’t want to believe they’re pushing it on us because of the price tag. I’ve already lost my grandma to the vaccine a few months ago, and I don’t want to lose my baby girl due to selfishness, greed and corruption.

God is sovereign in all things; including life and death. If you're hesitant in getting the surgery (which I would be as well), pray for direction from Jesus Christ. He is a healer and wonderful counselor that does miracles every day. There is nothing more precious to Him than a child. Seek Him with all your heart and I guarantee you He will answer. My prayers are with you and your family in this uncertain time. Many blessings and may His grace and peace be with you.

Why pray to the guy that created the hole-hearted baby? Isn't it part of his perfect plan?
