Well it turns out I'm not seeing any better rates from the other companies. I've had the same one for over 20 years so I have all the extra discounts.
Huh idk switch your house/property too. Or. You're already getting a good rate if no one else is lower. They're just catching you up. You also could have moved into a different risk category for whatever reason
They told me they it had nothing to do with me; they are raising rates for my entire state. Maybe to pay for incoming illegals and Afghans who will drive around uninsured. Or migrating Dems. Everyone here drives trucks 5mph under the speed limit.
I'm just going to bump up my deductible, negates the difference and then some. If I get in an accident I will put it back to $250 and see if I can get away with it.
Honedtly it's probably just inflation. The money supply is 40% greater than 2020 meaning the actual value your money is that much less. I will not show in whatever basket of goods bullshit the government does
You hit the nail on the head. The most popular insurance for illegals is "Get Out and Run". The system can't track them down and prosecute. This has left the comprehensive and uninsured actuarial tables in shambles. States have mandatory insurance laws, but illegals don't give a shit about the law.
