Dinosaur bones are rocks. They are usually found broken into countless small pieces. Scientiest (well, grad students) glue them together, but they are too fragile to display or mount. So copies are made in plaster or styrofoam.

Though no one ever does, but me, I guess, you can ask to see the actual crushed skull pile of the most famous dinosaur ever "Sue" the Chicago Tyrannosaurus Rex.

The skull of "Sue" is in special dark mood lighting in a glass case on 2nd story alcove, hidden away. You can get inches from it.

No one knows how a 130 ton supersaurus leg bone could avoid shattering into splinters taking one single step, and spreading 130 tons on three other legs. The cross section of leg bone is comically too narrow.
