Reading is the assimilation of information communicated by yourself or another being via text composed of characters that are agreed on to represent certain sounds. While reading, one must be careful to not fully accept the information present so as to blindly believe what is written, instead, one must consider if what they are reading is true. If one is reading for fun, then the idea is to let the imagination of the reader work to create the pictures, sounds, smells and feelings that the writer was trying to convey.
Writing is using characters that are agreed on to represent certain sounds, to send information to oneself or others. The writer must understand (to some degree) human thinking and form combinations of words that allow the reader to accept what they have written. Writing takes more thought to accomplish, and the writer works out fallacies and may have to re-do some of their work in order to have it fully accepted by the reader.

Why am I so bad at reading?
Why am I so bad at reading?
At reading what? I'm sure you would be bad at writing certain types of literature and editorials as well.
Define bad as you are using it here (slow reader, lose attention while reading and have to re-read it several times, other reason(s) ).
Reading seems boring and gay.
Writing seems more fun.
