Just voted in person in Bay Area and it was shady as sh_t. For people wanting a printed ballot, they were giving voters sharpies- I KID YOU NOT. The ballot was a double-sided one page ballot with the Yes/No question to recall Newsom on one side and the replacement candidates on the other. My wife was ahead of me and came back to the ballot desk, explaining that the sharpie bled through to the other side where you selected a candidate- NO KIDDING. I explained to the election worker that the sharpie is going to bleed through and that in all my years voting, we have ALWAYS used black ink pens- I also knew about the shady sharpie BS in Arizona. Another election worker overhead me getting pissed off, and she gave some lame excuse that this is what we are doing today. I asked if I could use a pen and they said yes, so I did. After filling out the ballot, I took it over to an election worker next to the scanner who told me to flap it in the air so that it is fully dry- WTF!!! After feeding the ballot through the scanner, a green or red light displays depending on whether the ballot has been "correctly" read or not. I got a green light so "apparently" it scanned. There is no receipt or way to validate the results of your ballot. There is no way to know if your ballot will be adjudicated or not. So, I am supposed to just trust Dominion or any other private company who writes election software. Total BS. This is a system ripe for fraud. The Demoncrats are following in the footsteps of Joseph Stalin- It does not matter who or how they vote, what matters is WHO counts the votes. We need a fully paper based system with a barcoded receipt validating your vote.
