I agree that it's a not meaningless...my original comment says as much.
I'm not digging a hole making myself seem retarded. You're arguing for something that no other site I'm aware of demands or even requests; for a task that I've seen nobody but you perform. Not even the Admins seem to do this, and if they do, they don't do it consistently. AOU commented as well with "Coming Soon" so the idea of automating this isn't far fetched or unworthy of consideration.
What you seem to do is assume intent, by rewriting my words with your own thoughts and voice. And you're a liar if you are saying that you do all of that work in seconds. No, you don't. Maybe a minute. Not seconds, that's a lie, unless you're doing it via a script.
Another thing you seem to do is attempt to personally attack or insult those with an opposing opinion, rather than acting like an adult man capable of civil discourse. That's pretty much the first sign you know your argument is failing, and it's a pattern I've seen from you pretty consistently. That's unfortunate because a fair bit of your content is generally rather good.
So, recently a feature was added that alerts you if a link has already been submitted. This process could be performed by the poster by searching the site for the link, but nobody seemed to do that. Yourself included. Posting duplicate content frankly destroys the quality of this place.
So what are your thoughts on that new feature? Will you refrain from using it, and instead begin searching the site first? Will you continue posting duplicate content? Or will you use the automated features because it improves the quality of the site via a seamless and effortless experience for the user?

Have you seen how much I posted per day a few weeks ago? It was 50+ posts a day where any relevant article submission was archived. I'm not lying. It took seconds. When you archive something you get a URL like archive . md/wip/XXXXX
If you remove the wip/ and just copy archive . md/XXXXX it gives you the resultant archive, no need to wait. So quite literally SECONDS. Just because you're too stupid to figure out easy as fuck workarounds does not mean others aren't. Does not mean you get to sit on your high horse calling me a liar when everything I stated was 100% the truth, over literally thousands of archives which I've made.
To speed things up even further we have what's called browser tabs. I'm sure you've heard of these. Even more we have multiple windows to drag and drop text into entry boxes easy as fuck. The entire process is easy and the most complicated thing that needs to be done is remembering how many tabs need to be hit on the keyboard to select this or that button / text entry field.

Odd. It's as though I suggested that to AOU multiple times. Huh. Here's my suggestion, months ago; https://poal.co/s/IdeasForPoal/401510/b9cd0cd4-a7c9-47e5-a98c-ac1f8f0b11c7 = https://archive.md/imZ5w <--- currently 7300 in queue, but I know the URL already. It took me all of sub 2 seconds to archive that. is what it looks like right now.
I'm done with the pilpul. Bye.
> Odd. It's as though I suggested that to AOU multiple times. Huh. So automation is fine when you say it is. Got it.
Yeah, you could do those things you named, not wait for the confirmation that the archive was actually successful, and post it in around, 10-20 seconds, hoping that the link actually works. Or the work could be offloaded to a tiny little script or API call.
Yup, buh-bye.
or you could make someone else (PMYB2) pay for it by being a lazy cunt and offloading it to the server
Sounds familiar.
