I am listening to one of his talks on the nature of temporal existence. I have no background in physics or philosophy--does this have any merit? It seems to make sense and I have heard others touch on these kinds of concepts.

By taking the time to make a post, you show that you don't trust yourself, that you require the herd's confirmation. Men who know themselves don't seek confirmation from others, they trust their intuition, their own reasoning based on the personal results they see happening via action. You don't think for yourself.

You have no idea who you’re talking to and what my mindset is. I have done nothing but thinking for myself. I’m not even going to entertain you further.

Seems clear I've touched a nerve because what I'm saying is true. You posted to see if the people here, whose words you find trustworthy, would confirm the bias you were seeking on Alan Watts. The sad thing is, even if you liked his words and found them insightful, you were prepared to give him up completely and disregard his words if you found a total negative reaction by us was given to your post. Hate to say it, but that is the opposite of thinking for yourself. That is herd mentality.

Oh fuck you are retarded. You really have no idea who you’re talking to

If you couldn't answer their question, you should have just said so.
