I had a covid party. It's like a chicken pox party. Three people with "confirmed covid" spent the weekend at my house. The picture is from their emergency room visit, but "ruled-out" seems to me like they don't have it. They all had a slight cough and scratchy throat, and that's it, no fever, no runny nose/congestion. They were all told to go home and die, so I invited them to spend their last weekend on Earth with me. I already ate all my ivermectin a few weeks ago (https://poal.co/s/TellPoal/425636) so I have just been gargling with hydrogen peroxide whenever I feel anything in my throat. I don't feel sick yet. I'll post here right before I die.

Haven't you heard? Everything except a gun death, unless committed by a nigger, is now marked as covid 19.

Dying is peaceful. I had the vids and did it.

Take your D3, C, and Zinc. Some B12 wouldn't hurt either.

B12

No. I take a B4 and a B8 instead.

I too am dead, and everyone envies me.

just means they need to test 47 more times to get a positive

To answer your question yes ruled out means that the doctor recorded them as not having COVID-19 but if they had test sent out after the initial visit and then came back with results (everything after this is pure speculation) I expect they won’t go back and change that initial record, but they will add the test results to the record.

That's the best answer so far. I guess I'll check back with them in a couple days to see if they got any lab results.

I don't understand why you're wasting a good solid case of exposure to 'confirmed' covid cases. You can go get the regeneron infusion now that it's FDA approved for 200 lb high risk people https://washingtonsources.org/regeneron-approved-severe-covid-vulnerable/

You have the flu.

Or one of the 600+ coronaviruses that humans can get.

The doctor specifically said they have covid-19 and should quarantine for 14 days.

Just my take on it:

In documentation one can notate "r/o" meaning rule out, then one notes the possible dx to determine if ya got it or not. i.e., r/o: R ankle fx Then examine by way of x-ray, other, to determine if an actual fx or not. Your document says COVID ruled out. which appears to me to say they did the tests, whatever, and determined that such was not the case. That you did not have COVID.

The only way you will really know, is you gotta point blank ask them. Systems and people document things in different ways. Ask in plain speak exactly what they meant. Get a plain answer.

I advise people that it is your right to get questions answered, and in a way that you would understand. Next time you go have what questions you want answered listed. Prepare for your appointment. An emergency is another story, but otherwise you need to have a CONVERSATION with the health care provider. Do not let them rush you. You are receiving medical care, not getting run through some mill.

You also have the right to say yea or nay to anything. I advise people that you are the boss. not the doctor. You need to inform yourself and make your own decisions. Most folks will do whatever they are told and fill that scrip or whatever. I have observed that doctors (good ones) are more then happy to have an intelligent conversation with their pt. Good bedside manner, an' all that. If not, find another one. I give due respect for all the hoops to jump through and training they have had to earn that title. It is to work WITH them in maintaining, regaining health.

TBH, i actually turn down prescription meds, i will find a natural approach as well as make lifestyle adjustments. I will not take NONE of that stuff. So far so good for umpteen decades. Blessed with pretty good health, tho' the "virus" has changed some things.

Bonus information: Here is a list of "rights" to consider when giving/taking medication: right person, right medicine, right dosage, right route (means of administration), right time, and the one no one ever says: right to refuse.

Yes, there are exceptions to all of the above. Just my two cents, to happily give folks some insight. Hope these tidbits help somebody. You gotta make your own decisions. This is just information.

It's crazy all the jargon that gets used. Someone else said they might get lab results a few days after the emergency room visit.

I don't have covid and I didn't go with them to the hospital. I was trying to catch a "confirmed" case so I could get over it without being tested myself.

Yes. Lots of jargon, and by virtue of decades in the health field, yeah plenty of it here.

My b, i misunderstood. Yeah, looks like they did not have it. Be careful what you wish for. It was weeks of illness for me. Others, just a light sprinkling so to speak, not down for the count. And, heh, they could do nothing for me.

From the screenshot, looks like this person went in with a complaint of a fever. At this time there was no definite diagnosis. The doctor may have suspected Covid and wanted to rule it out. They tested for Covid19, the flu and RSV. The results of the lab tests were not known or shown at this time. As an example, if you went in with chest pain, they'd do tests to rule out if it was a heart attack.
