I've heard you say a couple times "that won't happen here."

But, you are committed to providing a free speech platform. And we will probably draw more from Voat's userbase than from anywhere else on the internet. Pretty much the only way this site doesn't end up like Voat in that way is if Voat remains online and serves as kind of a containment area for the purity spiral crowd.

And I suspect this is the reason Putt has 'burned out' on Voat. It's a closed off place where very little real discussion occurs. Probably a liability that has cost him things in his personal and professional life.

What would you do if the same thing happens here?

Also a great example.
Much of Voat is 'pure' about naming the jew. It does get kind of old, but it's part of the ambiance of the site.

Oh sure, but there was a time where it used to be kind of cheeky and funny. Kind of like here. On Voat nowadays the Jew hating seems more like a way to get out of thinking critically and/or blame all the world's problems on one thing.
