But, you are committed to providing a free speech platform. And we will probably draw more from Voat's userbase than from anywhere else on the internet. Pretty much the only way this site doesn't end up like Voat in that way is if Voat remains online and serves as kind of a containment area for the purity spiral crowd.
And I suspect this is the reason Putt has 'burned out' on Voat. It's a closed off place where very little real discussion occurs. Probably a liability that has cost him things in his personal and professional life.
What would you do if the same thing happens here?
