The problem is there's a bit too much paranoia going on (although I regularly advocate for paranoia). Terry wasn't really wrong, so don't misunderstand. But there's good federal faggots too sometimes. Yes, more than the bad guys. If only you guys could tell the difference between a malicious actor and a useful idiot... Oh and, by the way, there's so much compartmentalization, paper pushing and visceral dross floating around in federal agencies that the vast majority are too stupid to figure out how to accomplish much of importance, they're too dulled by formalities or they aren't actually very smart beyond a decent memory and their ability to comply with their bosses. Have you ever worked for a newspaper company and see(n) how awful people are at grammar and spelling? Have you ever worked as an accountant or in an accounting department and realized how awful people are at math? Have you ever had a normal ass factory job or something and realized just how miserable, helpless and incompetent most people are? Yeah, now wrap that in to a government agency, where people are also enthralled with the gall of imagined power over regular citizens. That's what government is like.
