Like I just told this other guy -- this is a gift, really.

Way back when, people used to think it was a honor to die fighting for what they believed in.

After all, what is the point of life if you aren't really in control of your own destiny?

Personally, the idea of growing old any other way sounds absolutely atrocious! Kill me now if that's how it's gonna be!

There's a clip somewhere, George Carlin, "Some things are worth dying for."

I feel like I'm cheating. I would never stake my life on something, but this is an easy one. I've never been one to take many medications, and being forced to take one was always over the line for me, whether psychiatric ("oh, you're crazy!") or vaccine ("oh, you'll kill people if you don't get this!").

I've done everything fun there is to do already. Just working now so no regrets.
