When I look back at the images, I was surprised by the low quality.
It was in the late 60s/early 70s so the image quality being low is appropriate... We went to the moon 9 times, by the way. One of the missions turned into a flyby and not a landing as intended though. The stuff left on the moon is still there....

To be honnest, I made that comment kinda tongue in cheek. We don't really have high resolution pictures of anything that happened on the moon. Also, why is the sky always black on those pictures; without atmosphere, they should have had a perfect view of the stars and planets. But no, it's just all black out there apparently. So I guess you could say that I am more on the side of 'it didn't happened'.
