I know it’s an apples and oranges kinda question, or apples and something inedible. I dare say, I’d choose to work with cedar over snacking a dish with cheddar… though I am getting fairly hungry.

What say you?

Cedar. There are other great cheeses but the weather resistant properties of cedar wood, the aesthetic trees, and the pleasant smell when you burn it are hard to match imo.

burn it, sure. work it, thats better. one time i sawed a 20 foot section in half by hand just for fun (it was when the plandemic first started and i had a day to kill). talk about livin in the smell zone.

Edit: by section I pretty much meant tree, from where I cut it down till it got to about 3” in diameter.

Cedar. I like finding a good piece of cedar furniture. They don't make things like that anymore.

i'll make you one, though it may be rustic* as fuck.

Nice try I'm not doxxing myself glowy. You'll never catch me!

[–] 3 pts

you tell me where you are! i've narrowed it down to the cedar woods of Ticklemagouch, Kansas; or the grand cheddar fields of Krebs Cycle, Utah. I will find you...

I set my house on fire, destroyed all evidence. Shit I guess having a house on fire can dox me though...

[–] 1 pt

Dang, I’m allergic to fire. Shit makes me break out in covigonaherpasiphilitus… you win this round.

What if he's hiding in a cedar box in his cheddar cellar?

[–] 0 pt

I thought the Grand Cheddar Fields were in Wisconsin

Eastern va/NC maybe? What clues gave you those locations? Let's work that shit so you can handle business

I'll assume we're talking clogs, and your answer was cedar. Although I've always found asiago to be a good pairing with the smell of feet.

Cheese clogs the arteries...

Hell yeah, I have the same scroll saw. Where'd you get that viking pattern?

[–] 2 pts

It’s lightly from a beer cap. Tried it once, realized I did the negative backwards. Took a rub and reversed it.

Go for it https://pic8.co/sh/bVaC9Y.jpeg

Good news! Monsanto is working hard on combining them. Ceddar™ will soon be available to cheesemakers and foresters to cultivate. Soon you can build a deck that you can later eat on toasted bread. No longer will you have to choose between these two practically unrelated items when you need to eat and build something. And yes, it is Roundup Ready™ so you can get your daily regimen of glyphosate in a convenient and tasty new product.

Hopefully they saw fit to make their cedar-cheddar hybrid a tranny nigger so it can rape me and unburden me of my bicycle.

[–] 1 pt

Are we talking extra sharp white cheddar, or that medium wax shit?

[–] 1 pt

We’re talking all the cheddar, but I agree. Screw that milquetoast mild bullshit, and if you’re giving me sharp, make it extreme sharp.

Never worked with cedar, most of my stuff is either purpose-built furniture or musical instruments, so I prefer hardwoods like a nice rock maple. So I'll take the cheddar please, I like cheese.

Well dang, cedar is naturally pest and rot resistant. Makes for great outdoor furniture. Hardwoods are fun, but the smell of cedar… she’s beautiful.

I do like the scent of a cedar grove in the Summer. Cedar groves are also cool and pleasantly dimmed. They're not native here, but they grow all right. So do eucalyptus, though those have a tendency to just up and die off sometimes here.

If you don’t have the ability to farm cedar yourself try . I find their prices reasonable.

Would still like hear a cedar hollowbody guitar would you indulge in the build for us all?

Isn't every cigarbox guitar made of cedar?

[–] 0 pt

Don't know will look into it though.

[–] 0 pt

Dunno are all cigarboxs cedar?

[–] 1 pt

It's a tuff choice but it's hard to beat a good cheddar jewelry box! I've never tried it but a slice of cedar might just make a great sammich. You have given us a hard choice!

You’re an odd beaver. Keep at it.

Cedar. Cheddar is good and all, but there's so many better cheeses, like smoked gouda and baby swiss. Now pepper cheddar is some good stuff, but still not as good as nice cedar arrows.

[–] 0 pt

That’s where I’m at, with cheese I run the gamut. But gol’ dern I love working cedar.

[–] 0 pt

Gotta go cheddar. It's like the HD version of cedar.

Please elaborate. I beg you, take your time, use all your autism to make me believe.
