So back story.

My maternal grandfather lost contact with his first cousins.

I found a few of them and one is trying find another one.

So the one I'm trying to find was born in the 1940s and is a woman. What resources do I have that I can use without having to hire a private investigator so I can find this woman?

I assume you've already done all the easy things, like FB and Linkedin ... but if not, those are worth a shot, as well as other online forums connecting folks. But that being said, do a search for 'How to find lost relatives' and you get some interesting, most free search engines ... i.e. . Anyway, when I searched using those terms, I got a bunch of useful links. Give it a try if you haven't.

It'll be like finding a needle in a haystack, I guess, but good luck trying.

Maybe try ancestry.com they have a lot of great resources for finding relatives
