I need the start locations (lon/lat), and start timestamp of every fire from 2020-2021

https://www.fire.ca.gov/incidents/

These glowniggers start too many to do manually. If i cant figure this out then I may contact calfire and do a data request, but im already on enough lists.

I'd recommend talking to the mappers at nifc, as we already have internal feeds where there is no reason they shouldn't be public.

Either way, I usually use a web scraper tool of which there are many varieties, then auto sort the data.

The GIS certification is not that hard to get, if you are capable of scraping sites. Being a Red Card GIS specialist is the best way to have access to all of this type of data.

And yes, you are right. Wildfires are being started by those with the intent to terrorize. Some firebugs get sexual gratification from pleasing themselves while watching a fire they started burn. This is under reported. However, California, in particular, is designed by mother nature to burn. They are doing everyone a favor by starting fires.
