Poorly phrased post but it still says a lot about this community that so many people failed to understand it. Most people won't do a complete ideological 180 when facing death and most people who are dying don't think to post on social media. But given sufficient numbers a few probably do and those get well publicized. That and a lot of the stories are likely fake either for the purposes of propaganda or so somebody can get fake internet points.
