Can you guys smell gasoline anymore? I remember when I was a kid I loved when my parents got gas cause it smelled so strong. I don’t smell it anymore. I can’t even enjoy that smell. It’s like when I was a pothead and got so used to having loud around that I couldn’t smell it anymore. I thought of this cause for some reason I can smell spray paint. Idk why. I havnt been using spray paint. Hopefully it’s some kind of gas leak and I’m gonna die soon

That’s what happened to me when I got covid. I lost my sense of smell. I also coughed one time. Literally one time. I woke up in the morning. Ahahhem one singular cough. I said hm that felt like sick cough. Then I was outside working and I noticed I couldn’t smell My sweat. Then I started trying to smell food and candles m shit and I couldn’t smell anything. I was more worried I lost my sense of smell. Snelling things is nice. You take it for granted. I remember in college I had a mattress. It smelled so good. SO GOOD. So good to me. Like the smell of a woman and you just want to sit there and smell her. It smelled so good it creeped me out. Like sweat but not stinky like a sweet smell. Ahh I miss that mattress

Losing your sense of taste and smell is a normal reaction to a viral infection like covid. Your body doesn't want you to eat so it can focus 100% of its energy on fighting the virus. Hence the loss of appetite, taste and smell.

Have you tried taking zinc? Thirty years ago, my uncle lost his ability to smell or taste anything unless he went for a couple mile run beforehand. This went on for twenty years. One day he started taking zinc for an unrelated matter and all of the sudden he could taste and smell everything.

They did change the formula. Removed lead and added 10% ethanol. had a sweeter smell like high test. Now give a fucking headache and deteriorates to useless gunk quickly

Yep, a lot of the additives gasoline companies add to the gasoline make it a bit less volatile and creates less evaporative loss, aromatic vaporization is what gives gasoline it's characteristic smell.

If you're still riding around in your car, which had it's catalytic converter stolen, then you're likely smelling unburnt hydrocarbons in your exhaust, which is what the catalyst is supposed to burn off.

I just got my car back. Like an hour ago. It’s fixed now. What I found out from the mechanic though is that my car has two catalytic converters. It has a cheap one and an expensive one. The cheap one costs like 200 bucks. The expensive one costs somewhere over a thousand. They stole the cheap one cause it’s easy to get to. The expensive one is way up in the car. It would take actual work to get the expensive one and they would damage a lot of shit in the process

Yeah I told you that when you made the post about it. Glad you got it sorted out, it could just be an exhaust leak pre/post cat. Check the welds on the cat, likely it was mig welded. You can tell it's mig welded when it's spotty and blobby AF, most exhaust shops mig weld because it's easier and holds up fine for most exhausts. Pros tig weld, what they call "stacking dimes" is typically what you see when you tig weld, much stronger and higher quality, but requires more preparation, and skill obviously.

Often mig welds leak like a mofo because mechanics are taco niggers that are welding shit blind, because they don't want to remove the exhaust.

Iv had this car 1 year almost to the day. Just payed my third insurance payment. Iv had to have it in the shop once because some nigger pulled out in front of me to beat all the invisible traffic at 11pm. I had the engine go out over a computer update. That was mind blowing. Then my cruise control went out. And this happened. So it averages 3 months before something goes wrong. I’m just wondering what’s next

I’ll check at some point. I’m probably gonna replace the whole thing eventually anyways. I just want it to be like it was and any type of welding isn’t that. I’m not gonna do it till the price of metal goes down. I can buy the muffler and converter piece for 700 then bolt it on. I just got car I want it to be like it’s supposed to be. I know that if I catch a person doing it they better have a weapon on them cause I will and I’m not just gonna call the cops and hope they get there in time

Did you ever consider that large amounts of electrical transmission causes heat at the transformers that have to be installed at a certain distance in order to keep the voltage high? Remember that big tech consumes ungodly amounts of energy, all that energy has a lot of waste heat, both going in and going out. Heat that can easily start fires if you have a lot of tinder laying around.

Idk shit about the fires I don’t live there I just watch this guys videos all the time and he makes a ton of good points and calls shit correctly all the time. If you watch the video he talks about an arsonist that got caught after setting idk a thousand fires or something. Some people get off to that shit and it only takes one. So maybe you’re right idk. I replaced a broken panel on my generator, under warranty, Champion sent me the parts at my request. I’m perfectly capable of replacing the parts. I replaced them. As a final step I started the generator in my garage, with doors closed, I was only going to run it for a minute. It worked perfectly.

I won’t do that again, it’s been three days and I can still smell the exhaust fumes in my garage.
