Nah, our track record for invasions has been pretty bad for the last 60 years. The US has successfully failed to fix nations around the world. As a self proclaimed expert on the inter-web, I recommend the Australians go full 1776, it actually worked in America and created 200 years worth of a good times.

While this is true, as a Canadian I hold the opinion that an American invasion would not make matters any worse.

1776 was secession not revolution

It was a revolution they forgot to finish, by sailing back across the Atlantic and liberating England. Right after Dunkirk would have been a great opportunity.
