That isn't how politics and its influences work. Most of the people you see on the TV are actors, literal actors. Many are blackmailed so they retain their position. Some are just threatened over what will happen if they don't stop doing what they're told.

If you guys had it your way, you would run through city halls, hang all of the pasties and rejoice over your supposed triumph. Then, in a decade and probably sooner, you'll see the same influences start creeping back in and we will have made zero progress and all of you would stare at each other in confusion about having the exact same issues you had the decade prior.

You're kidding yourselves with this lazy ass "it's the Jews" bullshit. You aren't wrong, you're just fractionally correct.

I read an excellent book recently called A Star Called Henry about a young Dublin socialist lad who gets caught up in the struggle for Irish independence. Without wanting to give too much away it dawns on Henry quite late in the book that it was never really about getting rid of the British, it was just about select Irish people taking the places the British had occupied in society, and that his whole involvement in it from the socialist side of things had been a waste of time. Kinda similar to what you’re saying, even if you remove them all others will do what is necessary to take their places.

I don't see how this isn't obviously how things work. I'm genuinely not that smart. You guys can't be this disappointing.

People are idealistic, always have been. Those select few that took the positions of power once the British were gone could never have gotten rid of the British on their own, they needed the idealistic Henrys to do the leg work. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, idealism itself I’d say is quite a positive character trait, but collectively it can be manipulated and the results of that aren’t always positive.

Segregation used to be the law. It can be the law again. Except this time it's segregation + deportation.

Patrick Little had a great idea. Take the gobs budget, give it out to get then to leave and then cut that out of the budget.
