I know someone that has to use birth control pills because when they get their periods/PSM, I forget their issue, it's either they bleed a lot more than normal or it hurts more than normal. So they and their doctor found that by using the right birth control pill, it helps to regulate their periods.

I'm not trolling, I'm 100% serious. I've been seeing claims on here and Voat that birth control pills are bad and can cause serious problems.

Is their an alternative to using birth control pills for something like this? How valid are everyone's claims? What information do you have to backup your findings? Whatever you have, feel free to link it down below.

Thanks everyone

I was never able to use birth control with hormones. There are non-hormonal options, like Paragard. It can be in you for like 12 years and doesn't mess with your body at all (except maybe some mild cramping the first few months). Hormones seem to mess ladies up, its best to go without them.
