Vitamin D is actually an essential hormone which modulates an incredible number of processes in the body and especially the immune system. If you don't get a lot of sun on your bare skin so your body can make what ot needs each day you need at least 10,000 units of D.

The daily recommended amounts was found to be miscalculated by 10x due to a math error.

And vitamin D like testosterone is fat soluble so if you are fat you need more because it gets diluted too much.

I don't take vitamins.

But I eat a lot of organ meat every day.

Beef heart, liver, occasionally pig's blood, chicken liver, et cetera.

A lot of green vegetables too.

I usually make a stew, sometimes I throw some egg noodles in their too.

But my view is that it is best to get your nutrition through what you eat.

That only caveat it that you shouldn't eat pigs blood too much, you can actually overdose on iron if you eat it more than three times a week.

I'd love to eat more liver honestly. I eat steak, fish and pork every week. Lots of greens but not dark greens because I've had issues with stones in the past. Brussel sprouts and brocc for me. 120oz of water a day.

I'm in bed by midnight but wake up at 4:11AM every day without fail. Then fall back to sleep and wake up at 8 for work.

30 min MINIMUM of sun on busier days, but I fish a lot so I usually get much more.

Mussels are good too, and surprisingly cheap if you get the pre-cooked frozen shit. You just shouldn't eat too much, because they are filter feeders, and absorb a lot of toxins.

red meat

Good call. I do 3 ribeyes a week probably. Pork and fiber the rest.

Boswelia(for inflammation, works great)

Just reinforcing your comment. Inflammation is the number one killer. Boswellia is an effective treatment for arthritis too.

2,000 mgs , vitamin C fizzy drink , can't sing it's praises enough . Plus vita D3 , zinc , magnesium , CoQ10 ..but basically I will take that vita C drinkable powder mix . So many studies done on vitamin C. Msm won't tell you or they report on mega dosing with vita C to not be consequential. Bull shit ! Pure Shit. Check for yourself . It may save your life one day . Knowledge can be power . Your immune system needs vitamin C . It's very interesting how our body uses water soluble vitamin C . We need to replenish it daily. If I'm ever hospitalized , I have emphatically requested I get intravenous Vitamin C .

I eat enough of a nutrient rich diet that I probably don't benefit from supplementing very much. However, I take 1-3, depending on circumstances:

  • A multivitamin everyday
  • Fish oil on days where I didn't get enough omega 3 in my diet
  • Potassium, magnesium, and sodium in small amounts if I'm doing a water fast for more than 24 hours

Raw greens and fruit in a smoothie every day. Don't need supplements.

I'll take an OTC multivitamin as well as Dymatize brand protein powder blended with greens, etc. I try to stay from over-processed shit, but sometimes it's fun to indulge. My biggest vitamin: fucking exercise. Every day. Even when you don't want to. Especially if you don't want to.
