I’ve done good to stay out of debt and stash away a few dollars and make some decent investments. I’ve sacrificed a lot for this company but I just don’t want to take this fucking kill shot. I could probably do well working any fucking ol’ job and just cut spending, but how long before they crack down on the rest of us? The narrative has to fall apart if we hold out long enough, right?

I was working toward this goal but I’m not financially ready. Or maybe I am and I’m just being a pussy. Any homestead tips? I know that BlackPilled guy does it and bought a cheap fixer upper out in the desert.

water will be the limiting factor for increasing the food Supply in the coming two decades.

to each his own, but, "don't homestead in the desert" would be at the top of my list of tips.

Water is no longer an issue with air water condensers. They can make gallons a day from the air even in the desert for the price of a big air conditioner. Navy showers yes but no big deal.

spotted the city folk. ;)

simple fact of the matter being that living off of the land requires huge amounts of water. not just your personal three gallons of drinking a day. everything depends upon it. the livestock, the fruit trees, the crops. everything. if you were to use your condensers to do this, the electric bill from the state utility would be immense. yes, you would need a utility service because there's simply no way you're going to spend millions of dollars on the solar panels needed to generate the levels of electricity that you're talking about here for a simple farm.

furthermore, the whole point of homesteading is to no longer be dependant upon the state. you're roping them back into it by requiring their utility service to make drinking water. you can survive without electricity. you can't survive without water. don't complicate the equation when you can just get it from the land.
