Here's the dilemma. If they give a third dose of the same vaccine, it will be worthless because it doesn't protect against the Delta variant. I can't see them doing this. And if they make a new vaccine for the Delta variant they have a different problem: It's a new vaccine that needs EUA or full approval all over again, and that takes time, definitely longer than a few months.

And yet Biden wants us all to get a third shot within the next few months.

How do you think they will squirm their way out of the dilemma?

They are just going to lie. The vaccines are useless against all the variants, Delta is likely only a thing due to the leaky vaccines. They've lied since the start it's not like they were honest up til now. They will give the usual "vaccines save lives" rhetoric and the NPCs will line up for boosters every few months regardless of what the data says.
