I want to replace gasoline and 2 stroke oil, which are expensive. I was thinking of using diesel together with gasoline, or only ethanol but with lubricating oil. How do I do this ?

I would not deviate from the oil/gas mixture. You can get two cycle motor oil by the quart if it's a cost issue.
