You're right as all I can find is it was causing ovarian cancer in women. Still a shitty thing to do by continuing to sell it.

From what I read the discontinued it here in the States and Canada. Supposedly they were still selling it in other places until they sold the remainder of what was already made. A bunch of great people at J&J...
I should be clear that I have no desire to defend J&J. I imagine I would find it hard to do so. I just think it's dumb that people were using the product off label and then complaining that it gave them cancer. Seems like if it's a useful product, people should still be able to use it as indicated.
