Turn your monitor brightness down. You have too little contrast with the brightness being blown out like that. My monitors are color calibrated and appears much darker than your, but the contrast and color accuracy are greatly improved. I assume you play a lot of vidya so you have the brightness and color saturation turned way up, but that makes everything else look like shit. Find a happy medium in your settings adjustments.

Okay, how about the Gamma and color temp? That settings screen on the monitor also looks washed out (the white text on cyan background is particularly bad). Definitely a monitor issue since that is generated by the monitor itself.

Color Temp is Normal. There are 4 choices; Cool Normal Warm User Define - R = 100 - B = 100 - G = 100
