Based on logic.
How many stories of patients recalling what doctors said over their "pronounced dead" bodies, or children talking about past lives do you need to hear before you go; "hum".
Yeah, i FEEL (oh so scary word. Ugh, emotion amirite?) truth when presented. Because these past 20 years of my adult life, ive been searching, and as the saying goes.. I have found.
And truth, i think, has to be subjective.
I hear you, what I have found is the gospel, it became real to me and changed my life back in 1979, and I'm not putting down feelings, I have to say I had plenty of them (affections and love) when I was converted, way back then.
My subjective life, or how to live it, when I was saved, lined up with the objective word of God, and that's what's kept me going now for so long a time.
If you've 'found,' and it's not the gospel of Christ, maybe consider searching a bit more?
I hear you about the out of body stuff, I doubt most of it (dreams or whatever, most of them don't line up with the objective truth...with your soul, and eternity, you want to make absolutely sure.
Two things about eternity that are so solemn, it is unchangeable, and it is forever.
Have you read the Thomas evangelium? :)
I love Jesus Christ.
No, I'm looking at it now, thanks..
