That falls under the first part IMO, don't get a pitbull if you don't have a reason to. If you own a junkyard, or live out in the wilderness, that's a good reason to have one.
Living in some suburban neighborhood, the guy who owned the one who bit your neighbor's daughter really shouldn't have owned one anyway.
Decent point, the public should not be held under threat of niggers of any kind.
So ultimately I still don't think pitbulls should be exterminated. They serve a purpose. It's the idiot owners that have them in crowded neighborhoods you should be mad at, not the dogs.
What purpose do they serve? Keeping outsiders off your property? Plenty of other animals can do that same job.
Their real job is bull and dog fighting, I dont see many people needing that.
