Search online, most of the time they list what they specialize in. If you see LGBT/Trans that's obviously going to be a hard pass, you can also do a quick voting record search. I ended up with someone that specializes in drug and alcohol abuse even though I don't do anything like that but he ended up being great to talk about stress from government overreach with, the point is even if they specialize in marriage counseling or something else don't rule them out.
