One of my boatmates gets a lot of shit for feeding the pup raw meat.
"What do you think they eat in the wild?" Shuts down everyone instantly.
Dogs are not wild animals tho. There are animals of the same species that are wild but pets are not. I am not saying you are wrong about raw meat but I am saying it's not guaranteed that what is ok for a wild dog is ok for your pet.
It's a blue heeler. It's fine.
My dog just killed a monkey. Explain the difference.
Your average pet dog is hundreds of generations from anything that hunted in a pack or survived away from humans. Most couldn't do that. Also wild dogs eat raw meat because they have to. Wild dogs don't live to be 10 or 12 years old. If they ate meat with bad bacteria on it, they could get sick, too.
Im pretty sure you find these in the wild all the time /s (media.istockphoto.com)
AHAHA! Right? The kitty gets whatever fish we catch. Or some crabmeat when the trap works.
