Obviously the best thing would be to not have children with the wrong partner, but for those that have, how do you deal with it when the other parent is basically teaching your children the exact opposite of most of your beliefs? They are so impressionable when they are young but also too young to comprehend really learning to think for themselves and question what they are taught by those they trust the most.

This is true they will see several hardworking men on my husband's side of the family so hopefully it will make some difference. The problem with coparenting though is you essentially lose a lot of parental rights that you would normally have because you have to worry the other parent will take you to court if they disagree with how things are done at your house. It's also more complicated when you are raising children in different States. Apparently in CA it's abusive and seen as a punishment to teach your 8 year old sons how to make their own sandwich.

Well thats fucking retarded. Kids should be making their own food, it helps them become independent.

I can't say I completely understand the situation I don't, and I know it sucks ass, we all have to play the hand we're dealt and do our best with what we have. If you are trying as hard as I am guessing you are I'd bet it'll all work out in the end.
